Standard Hill Angus is owned and operated by Les and Ethel Smith and thier children, Roxanne and Thomas. Roxanne is currently pursuing schooling for a career in pharmacy at the University of Alberta. Thomas is in grade 12 this year and is looking forward to finishing high school.
The homesite was originally settled by Ethel's family in 1909. Les and Ethel began raising purebred Black Angus in 1988. Since then the herd has grown in number and quality through the use of ai to proven sires.
We are proud to offer our stock in the BASIC BLACK production sale every march. We are happy to welcome Jake and Marla Pilkey as a guest consigner again this year. This year the 3rd annual sale is on March 9th, 2008.
