Standard Hill Angus is owned and operated by Les and Ethel Smith and thier children, Roxanne and Thomas. Roxanne is currently enrolled in pharmacy at the University of Alberta. Thomas is now pursuing his post secondary education at Camrose.
The homesite was originally settled by Ethel's family in 1909. We are proud to be a recipient of a Century farm award. Les and Ethel began raising purebred Black Angus in 1988. Since then the herd has grown in number and quality through the use of ai to proven sires. We have sold seed stock into many influenctial herd in the breed.
We are proud to offer our bulls in the BASIC BLACK production sale every March. Females and bulls are often available at the farm by private treaty. |
